Valentine Craft Ideas For Kids

We love how this little handmade artisan book of ours inspired valentine craft ideas for kids. Two girls filled the pages with photos of themselves along with sweet messages about why they love their dad on paper hearts.

Materials We Used:

• Medium Silk Artisan Album
• Valentine Scrabook Paper
• Stamps (we like these heart stamps from Etsy seller TalktotheSun)
• Washi Tape (Etsy Seller PaisleyHandmade has lots of fun wash tape designs)
• Fun Photographs with red and pink colors

The Process

This activity is great for young children to practice their cutting skills. Teach them how to make a paper heart and have them write reasons why they love Mom, Dad, or both!

To make the little pocket for the heart messages, we just cut rectangle pieces of scrapbook paper and taped the edges to the artisan book pages. Very simple and easy!

We love the idea of having kids draw and write messages in the white space around photographs.
