Basements, Brazil, and Velvet Guest Books
Our week at the studio started off so well. The team was feeling inspired after discovering the absolute gorgeousness that occurs when we turn our artisan albums into velvet guest books using antique velvet.
Then, on Tuesday, a pipe broke in the basement, sending water everywhere. Our team sprang into action, shut off the water, and started saving materials before the water could get to it all. We managed to save a lot and worked together to sweep, mop, and vacuum up as much water as we could so our book binders and embossers could finish the orders that needed to be shipped out that day.
This week, we're incredibly thankful for a passionate team that will do everything they can in an emergency, creativity, and building relationships with creatives.
