I bought one of these guest books (the lighter brown) as a gift for a friend who let us stay at her cabin one week this fall. We personalized it with their home's name and I couldn't be happier with the gift. She was thrilled with the book as well. The leather is beautiful - nice leather with some life to it which I believe is why Blue Sky Papers refers to it as rustic. It's not too rustic but just enough to remind you that this leather is real. The personalization was like "branding" and I found that to be the classiest and coolest way to make this gift a little extra special - as if we made the gift just for our friends. Overall, I highly recommend this rustic guest book!
