No-Sew Leather Pouch Pattern

Sewing leather can be intimidating, however, you need not fear with this No-Sew Leather Pouch Pattern (for FREE). This DIY will take you about 5 minutes to do and makes for a chic way to carry those bits and baubles floating around in the bottom of your purse.

Supplies:

• Leather Satchel Pattern printout
• scrap piece of leather (at least 8x10")
• 24" inch leather cord
• leather hole puncher
• leather scissors

Directions:

Step 1 :

• save No Sew Leather Satchel Image to your computer and print out.
• cut out Leather Pouch Pattern

Step 2:

• using a pencil, trace circle pattern onto scrap leather

Step 3:

• cut out leather using leather scissors or really sharp scissors to get a clean edge.

Step 4:

• Place circle pattern evenly on top of the leather circle, lining up to two circles perfectly.
• using the leather hole puncher, punch holes on each of the red dots.
  
  • *I actually ended up punching another hole in between each red dot, too.

Step 5 :

• Take your leather cord and lace it through the holes you just punched, following the diameter of the circle.

Step 6:

• Now, pinch and pull the cord tight.

And you're all done! That probably only took you like 5 minutes! These little pouches are good for carrying your small nick-nacs, like jewelry, art supplies or it even makes for a unique coin purse, or ring 'box' for a wedding. So many possibilities!
