Summer is officially here, and we’re dreaming about our Fourth of July must haves in the studio at Blue Sky Papers. Fireworks, grilling out, and patriotic activities are definitely on our minds!
Here’s the team’s take on Fourth of July must haves for this summer celebration:
A panama straw hat…
to keep the sun off my face – Emily
Red, White, and Blue Sangria…
and a large body of water (lake/ pool) – Tara
The Peachtree Road Race!
It’s a big Atlanta event, one of the biggest races IN THE WORLD (it’s always featured in Runners World magazine, etc). It’s ON July 4, and Melisha and I are both running it – Amy
The fireworks they do at Esther Peachy Lefevre park in Cabbagetown
They make you feel alive in that “I might actually die because this is so dangerous” kind of way. It’s a tiny park and just a bunch of neighbors being way too reckless with fire. In the nine years since I moved to Atlanta, I have only missed it once – Jessie
Annual beach trips…
with my crazy family – Courtney
Relaxing and grilling out…
on the back deck, and drinking root beer floats in mason jars with these patriotic straws – Christina
