The Custom Leather Menus and Coasters we made for the Whiskey Project are finally making their debut at the grand opening this Friday, June 15th.
The Whiskey Project Atlanta is a new concept bar and restaurant opening up on the north side of Atlanta’s perimeter in the heart of Roswell, Georgia. By the looks of their Instagram photos, their food options seem amazing, however, it is the selection of 1,000 whiskies that will draw the folks in.
That’s why we were so tickled to be a small part of this (whiskey) project, and get the honor of making their leather menus and coasters for the new bar! We are sharing with you a bit of the process in making these, and sneak peek photos of the menus and coasters!
These custom leather menus were so much fun to make. Making a leather menu cover is a faily simple process. The hardest part is designing, and sourcing the right leather for the job. Once we have the design finalized, and leather selected, we can get to work making!
First we cut the leather hides down into the correct menu size. Then, we punch all of the holes, where we will add a chord to insert the paper menus. Lastly, finishing it off with a blind de-bossing on the cover with a custom logo!
We have shared some of the other restaurant menu covers that we have made before, and will be adding a leather menu options to our site soon!
