i am a sucker for a bow... and so this book was perfect! The bow is a really cool silk with chunks and natural texture. I love the look of it next to the rayon/linen/whatever which is smooth and non-shiny. The ribbon does have an illuminocity (sp?) that you can't really see in the pictures. I'd say the only downfall is that the edges of the ribbon are not created to prevent fraying. I retied the bow (just cause I am a perfectionist!) and so I had to trim the edges near the knot a little. But it was easy and looks great!
